I'm With Vice Chair Richelle Flackey
This week in our #ImWithHer blog we want to highlight the work of one of our own. Richelle Flackey is a senior at UW-La Crosse, majoring in political science with a minor in communications. Richelle is also the vice chair of the Wisconsin Federation of College Republicans.
Richelle joined the College Republican chapter at UW- La Crosse two years ago and has quickly ascended to many leadership positions both locally and statewide. In addition to her work with College Republicans, Richelle also is a field staffer for the Republican Party of Wisconsin in La Crosse. This gives Richelle a voice to advocate on behalf of students within the party.
All too often the voice of students is looked over. Richelle is leading the charge to make sure our voice is heard at level of our party and government.
Richelle also mentions how the benefits of joining College Republicans stretches beyond the political impact.
“I like being in a group with like-minded people. I met some of my best friends in College Republicans and I love knowing we all have each other’s backs.”
Richelle said she will miss these friendships the most when she graduates this winter. We thank Richelle for her past and continued dedication to College Republicans.
#ImWithHer because Richelle Flackey knows how big of an impact College Republicans can have. By joining a College Republican chapter on your campus you have the opportunity to create noticeable change on your campus and beyond.
Chapters from across the state will be starting up again with the new school year. If you are looking to spend some time with fun, like-minded people, College Republicans is for you.
Look for more #ImWithHer posts each Monday as we celebrate the accomplishments of Republican Women in the state of Wisconsin.
